Zilnic am sute de sarcini care cer o reac\u021bie rapid\u0103, iar uneori simt c\u0103 nu am suficient timp c\u0103 s\u0103 fac fa\u021b\u0103 avalan\u0219ei de notific\u0103ri, mailuri, mesaje. Prea mult lucru, prea multe ecrane, prea mult totul. Observ ceva \u00een felul \u00een care func\u021bioneaz\u0103 mintea mea: \u00eemi este mai greu s\u0103 stau cu un text lung, mai greu s\u0103 urm\u0103resc o idee p\u00e2n\u0103 la cap\u0103t, mai greu s\u0103 nu caut imediat o scurt\u0103tur\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uneori deschid un articol \u0219i, \u00eenainte s\u0103-l citesc, vreau deja rezumatul. \u00cencep s\u0103 scriu un email \u0219i m\u0103 prind c\u0103 nu mai am r\u0103bdare s\u0103-mi formulez singur frazele. Vreau s\u0103 spun ceva, dar \u00een loc s\u0103 stau cu g\u00e2ndul meu neclar, \u00eemi vine s\u0103 cer imediat ajutor: formuleaz\u0103-mi, structureaz\u0103-mi, explic\u0103-mi, f\u0103-mi mai clar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u0218i aici apare \u00eentrebarea care m\u0103 urm\u0103re\u0219te: dac\u0103 primesc tot mai des g\u00e2ndurile gata f\u0103cute, ce se \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103 cu partea din mine care \u00eenv\u0103\u021ba s\u0103 g\u00e2ndeasc\u0103 tocmai prin efortul de a formula?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nicholas Carr scria \u00eenc\u0103 din 2008, \u00een eseul <em>Is Google Making Us Stupid?<\/em>, c\u0103 internetul \u00eei schimba felul de a citi \u0219i de a se concentra. Spunea c\u0103 mintea lui ajunsese s\u0103 a\u0219tepte informa\u021bia \u00een forma \u00een care internetul o ofer\u0103: rapid, fragmentat, u\u0219or de scanat. M-am reg\u0103sit mult \u00een aceast\u0103 observa\u021bie. Simt \u0219i eu uneori c\u0103 nu mai citesc, ci scanez. Nu mai intru \u00eentr-un text, ci \u00eel traversez \u00een grab\u0103, c\u0103ut\u00e2nd ideea principal\u0103, concluzia, ceva ce pot lua repede \u0219i duce mai departe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Problema este c\u0103 g\u00e2ndirea profund\u0103 nu se \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103 \u00een grab\u0103. Unele idei au nevoie de timp. Au nevoie s\u0103 le urm\u0103re\u0219ti, s\u0103 revii, s\u0103 nu \u00een\u021belegi totul din prima, s\u0103 te contrazici, s\u0103 sim\u021bi c\u0103 ceva nu se leag\u0103 \u0219i s\u0103 cau\u021bi mai departe. Dar noi tr\u0103im \u00eentr-un mediu care ne antreneaz\u0103 invers: s\u0103 s\u0103rim, s\u0103 scan\u0103m, s\u0103 consum\u0103m, s\u0103 reac\u021bion\u0103m. ACUM!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cu AI, lucrurile devin \u0219i mai complicate. AI ne ofer\u0103 propozi\u021bii gata, care sun\u0103 bine formulate \u00een c\u00e2teva secunde. Ne ofer\u0103 mesaje, concluzii sau ne editeaz\u0103 texte. Recunosc, uneori m\u0103 ajut\u0103 enorm. \u00cel folosesc ca s\u0103-mi organizez ideile, s\u0103 traduc, s\u0103 verific o structur\u0103, s\u0103 g\u0103sesc surse, s\u0103 ies din blocaj. \u0218i nu vreau s\u0103 m\u0103 prefac c\u0103 nu-mi este util.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dar \u00een acela\u0219i timp simt c\u0103 exist\u0103 un risc. Dac\u0103 \u00eel folosesc prea des ca s\u0103 scurtez exact partea grea a g\u00e2ndirii, ce mai exersez eu?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00cen cercet\u0103rile despre AI apare conceptul de <em>cognitive offloading<\/em>, adic\u0103 externalizarea efortului cognitiv. Pe scurt, \u00eenseamn\u0103 s\u0103 mut\u0103m o parte din munca min\u021bii c\u0103tre un instrument. Facem asta de mult timp: folosim calendare ca s\u0103 nu \u021binem minte tot, h\u0103r\u021bi ca s\u0103 nu memor\u0103m drumuri, calculatoare ca s\u0103 nu facem toate calculele singuri. Dar AI merge mai departe. El poate prelua nu doar informa\u021bii, ci \u0219i formularea, argumentarea, uneori chiar judecata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Asta m\u0103 face s\u0103 m\u0103 \u00eentreb c\u00e2t de mult din g\u00e2ndirea mea mai r\u0103m\u00e2ne antrenat\u0103 dac\u0103 deleg prea des tocmai exerci\u021biile care o formau?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00cemi dau seama cel mai bine de asta c\u00e2nd scriu. Pentru mine, scrisul nu este doar produsul final. Nu este doar articolul, mesajul, emailul sau postarea. Scrisul este locul \u00een care aflu ce g\u00e2ndesc. De multe ori pornesc de la o idee vag\u0103, scriu ceva prost, \u0219terg, revin, m\u0103 enervez, g\u0103sesc o fraz\u0103, pierd alta, \u00eemi dau seama c\u0103 nu cred chiar ce am scris, schimb direc\u021bia. \u00cen tot procesul acesta, g\u00e2ndul se formeaz\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dac\u0103 sar peste acest proces \u0219i primesc textul gata, c\u00e2\u0219tig timp, dar pierd \u00eent\u00e2lnirea cu propria mea minte. Poate primesc o formulare mai curat\u0103, dar nu neap\u0103rat mai vie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un studiu despre efectele AI generativ asupra efortului cognitiv \u00een scrierea analitic\u0103 porne\u0219te exact de la ideea c\u0103 scrierea cere aten\u021bie, organizare \u0219i g\u00e2ndire critic\u0103. Asta mi se pare important. Scrisul este un exerci\u021biu prin care ne clarific\u0103m g\u00e2ndirea. Dac\u0103 renun\u021b\u0103m complet la efortul scrierii, risc\u0103m s\u0103 renun\u021b\u0103m \u0219i la o parte din efortul g\u00e2ndirii. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De aceea \u00eencerc s\u0103-mi impun o regul\u0103 simpl\u0103: s\u0103 nu cer imediat textul final. S\u0103 scriu \u00eent\u00e2i ceva al meu, chiar dac\u0103 \u00eemi pare st\u00e2ngaci. Apoi pot folosi AI-ul ca interlocutor. \u00cei pot cere s\u0103-mi pun\u0103 \u00eentreb\u0103ri, s\u0103-mi arate unde nu este clar, s\u0103-mi indice ce lipse\u0219te, s\u0103-mi ofere un contraargument. Aici mi se pare c\u0103 tehnologia poate deveni util\u0103 f\u0103r\u0103 s\u0103-mi fure complet procesul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Exist\u0103 chiar cercet\u0103ri despre instrumente AI construite \u00een jurul \u00eentreb\u0103rilor socratice, nu doar al r\u0103spunsurilor gata f\u0103cute. Ideea lor este simpl\u0103: AI-ul poate sprijini g\u00e2ndirea critic\u0103 atunci c\u00e2nd ne provoac\u0103 s\u0103 g\u00e2ndim mai departe, nu c\u00e2nd \u00eenchide procesul \u00een locul nostru. \u00cemi place aceast\u0103 diferen\u021b\u0103. AI-ul ca spa\u021biu care m\u0103 \u00eentreab\u0103, nu ca voce care decide pentru mine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mai este o capcan\u0103 pe care o simt des: faptul c\u0103 un text generat poate suna foarte bine sau poate fi mai fluent. Dar fluen\u021ba nu este acela\u0219i lucru cu \u00een\u021belegerea. Un text poate suna conving\u0103tor f\u0103r\u0103 ca eu s\u0103 fi \u00een\u021beles cu adev\u0103rat ce spune. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pentru mine, solu\u021bia nu este s\u0103 renun\u021b la AI. \u00cel folosesc \u0219i probabil \u00eel voi folosi \u00een continuare. Dar \u00eencerc s\u0103-mi construiesc o propor\u021bie. S\u0103-mi dau seama c\u00e2nd m\u0103 ajut\u0103 s\u0103 g\u00e2ndesc mai bine \u0219i c\u00e2nd m\u0103 ajut\u0103 doar s\u0103 evit efortul de a g\u00e2ndi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Citesc uneori f\u0103r\u0103 s\u0103 cer rezumat. Mereu scriu prima variant\u0103 singur apoi editez cu un agent AI. Accept uneori c\u0103 ideile mele sunt neclare \u0219i c\u0103 nu trebuie reparate imediat de o ma\u0219in\u0103. \u0218i \u00eencerc, poate cel mai greu, s\u0103-mi protejez aten\u021bia. Pentru c\u0103 f\u0103r\u0103 aten\u021bie nu exist\u0103 g\u00e2ndire profund\u0103. C\u00e2teva minute f\u0103r\u0103 telefon. Lectur\u0103 unei c\u0103r\u021bi minim 30 minute \u0219i concentrarea aten\u021biei pe proces sau un capitol citit p\u00e2n\u0103 la cap\u0103t. O plimbare cu c\u00e2inele f\u0103r\u0103 s\u0103 ascult nimic. O \u00eentrebare l\u0103sat\u0103 s\u0103 existe f\u0103r\u0103 s\u0103 fie rezolvat\u0103 imediat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Poate c\u0103 asta este una dintre provoc\u0103rile mari ale prezentului: s\u0103 folosim instrumentele noi f\u0103r\u0103 s\u0103 renun\u021b\u0103m la exerci\u021biile vechi care ne-au format mintea. \u00cendoiala, r\u0103bdarea, aten\u021bia, plictiseal\u0103, scrisul st\u00e2ngaci, t\u0103cerea, gre\u0219eala, reformularea, toate acestea ne fac umani.
